Fantasy Angles
- Fade early: Arsenal’s opening run is the worst in the league. Three Big Six opponents in the first five. Bench your Gunners until GW7.
- Gabriel risk: Centre-back rotation risk with Champions League starting in September.
- Post-GW7 pickups: Fixtures soften and attacking assets like Saka and Ødegaard come into play. big time.
- Late-season gold: Arsenal finish with BUR, FUL, WHU, and CPL in their final five. Great endgame assets.
Draft Strategy Tips
- Don’t be fooled by name value. Saka, Martinelli, and Rice are risky early-round picks.
- White and Saliba may be overpriced. Better to wait for defensive solidity after GW6.
- Target Arsenal players for trades around GW6-7 when other managers get frustrated.
StatrDraft Verdict
Arsenal’s fixture list is basically a TED Talk on adversity. If Arteta’s squad doesn’t start strong, they could be five points off top four by mid-September. But once the big boys are out of the way, this team becomes pure FPL fire. Think of them like a dodgy takeaway: avoid early, feast late.
Arsenal are a classic wildcard pickup team — don’t waste premium picks, just pounce when the fixtures turn.
