Key Fantasy Angles
-
Ethan Ampadu & Joe Rodon will be vital for clean sheets early on – especially in the winnable home games versus Everton, Bournemouth and Palace.
-
Georginio Rutter is a wildcard forward worth tracking in early waiver windows, especially against Fulham, Wolves, and Sunderland.
-
If Leeds go full high-octane pressing mode under Farke again, midfielders could deliver big in home fixtures with high possession swings.
Draft Strategy Tips
-
Prioritise early-season streamers: With Forest, Fulham, and Bournemouth in the first six, there’s short-term upside for defenders.
-
Beware the November run: Facing Brighton, Forest (away), Villa, and then City could spell rotation or heavy defeats — stash with caution.
-
Stack late for survival push: Final five games include three relegation rivals and Brighton at home in GW37. If you’re behind, Leeds could save your season.
StatrDraft Tactical Commentary
Leeds are back, and buzzing with 100-point Championship momentum, but Premier League survival will come down to whether Daniel Farke’s press-and-punish football holds up under elite scrutiny. The first month gives them a shot to build confidence — home to Everton, then Fulham and Bournemouth by mid-September. That said, the November to January stretch is as brutal as it gets: City, Chelsea, Liverpool, United… it’s a fantasy wasteland (unless you love yellow cards and goal difference disasters).
Still, for draft punters looking for a cheeky punt? Farke’s teams go for it. That means rotation risks, but also high ceiling players and occasional hammerings… both given and received.
