Key Fantasy Angles
-
Son Heung-min stays a high-tier fantasy forward pick, especially with Europa League rotation looming for others.
-
Pape Matar Sarr might explode under Thomas Frank, who’s known for elevating midfielders with high press value.
-
Keep an eye on Pedro Porro if Spurs settle defensively — great value if clean sheets return. Udogie as well is another to watch, but major if he stays fit.
Draft Strategy Tips
-
Target early: Bournemouth, Wolves, Burnley, Sunderland = a generous set of fixtures, especially at home.
-
Avoid defensive picks through November — a minefield run of Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool.
-
From GW33 to the finish, Spurs only face one current top-six side — could be key for late-season swings and playoff pushes in H2H leagues.
StatrDraft Tactical Commentary
Thomas Frank inherits Spurs post-Europa glory but must haul them back to domestic relevance after a miserable 17th-place finish. He opens with Burnley at home — a gift — but immediately gets thrown into the cauldron with a trip to Manchester City.
The North London Derby double comes in brutal symmetry: away in November, home in February — right in the middle of their nastiest stretch of the season. There’s a four-game hell run from late January: City, United, Newcastle, Arsenal. Grab popcorn or cover your eyes.
Fantasy-wise, the attack has upside — Son, Kulusevski, and possibly a revived Maddison could shine under Frank’s system. Defensively? Let’s see. New shape, new boss — but still very Spursy if we’re being honest.
The good news? That run-in is tasty. Leeds, Chelsea, Everton to close. If you’re chasing a mini-league title, Spurs might just drag you over the line… or bottle it spectacularly, in classic form.
